Polish translation of The Scientific Guide to Global Warming Skepticism

Posted on 20 May 2011 by John Cook

The Scientific Guide to Global Warming Skepticism has been translated into Polish. The Guide was translated by Irek Zawadzki and Marcin Popkiewicz from www.ziemianarozdrozu.pl (EarthAtCrossroads), a website covering issues of sustainability, energy, environment (with special focus on climate change) and economy.

Invaluable support was provided by Prof. Szymon Malinowski from the Dept. of Physics of Warsaw University, who provided professional remarks to translated text, Piotr Bentkowski, who helped to translate diagrams' captions, Monika Bujak and Anna Popkiewicz, who verified and corrected the text.

Marcin, besides publishing the Guide on www.ziemianarozdrozu.pl and promoting it on his companion Facebook page, used his vast contacts in Poland to quickly spread the word to other websites and blogs:

The Guide's content and diagrams will also be used in Marcin Popkiewicz's book "World at Crossroads" and various educational materials.

  1. Cool, I'm continually amazed by the amount of effort that is made by such a diverse bunch of people, who have never met and get no payment for their efforts.
