The benefits of a price on carbon outweigh the costs several times over.

"Polar bear numbers are increasing" Polar bears are in danger of extinction as well as many other species. 1
"Global warming stopped in 1998, 1995, 2002, 2007, 2010, ????"

Global temperature is still rising and 2010 was the hottest recorded.

"Clouds provide negative feedback" Evidence is building that net cloud feedback is likely positive and unlikely to be strongly negative. 1
"Arctic sea ice loss is matched by Antarctic sea ice gain" Arctic sea ice loss is three times greater than Antarctic sea ice gain. 1
"Renewable energy is too expensive"

When you account for all of the costs associated with burning coal and other fossil fuels, like air pollution and health effects, in reality they are significantly more expensive than most renewable energy sources.
