Nitrogen dioxide (NO2)
NO2 is a pollutant released mainly by fossil fuel combustion.
NO2 harms air quality by causing respiratory problems and smog. It is also a greenhouse gas, contributing 6% of the human-caused greenhouse effect according to the AGGI.
