Fa parte di un normale ciclo naturale

Che cosa dice la Scienza...

Il ciclo di 1500 anni Dansgaard-Oeschger individuato nell’ultima era glaciale nell’emisfero settentrionale è associato a raffreddamento nell’emisfero meridionale. L’attuale riscaldamento globale invece si verifica nei due emisferi ed in particolare interessa tutti gli oceani e quindi indica che siamo in presenza di un significativa alterazione dell’equilibrio energetico.

"Le registrazioni climatiche del passato mostrano un ciclo di approssimativamente 1500 anni. Fu scoperto la prima volta nei campioni di ghiaccio in Groenlandia, poi fu individuato nei sedimenti oceanici nell’Atlantico. Ora lo si trova ovunque as esempio in stalagmiti nelle grotte. Il ciclo evidenzia riscaldamento e raffreddamento che ben si accorda con il riscaldamento corrente”  (Fred Singer)
